What a lovely day for a run, I needed a sun shade not an umbrella this year. Apologies again for the problem that prevented us presenting the Age Related Prize. As I guessed, the maths and stats team "James - Daniel - repeat" had indeed won it given their usual secret weapon of Graham Jameson , still going strong at 76, but I couldn't be sure until I entered the data back in my office. I'll try to update my "app" in time for next year so I can make the necessary corrections to team order if needed. It was great to see so many teams entered this year, especially the 4 STORi teams who won three out of the four prizes, a feat only once surpassed when Maths and Stats won all four. They'll need to find their own Graham Jameson if they are to equal that achievement next year.
Thanks as usual to the helpers, Rob Henderson, Matt Doidge, Adam Parker, and the couple of people I roped in on the day. Also a big thanks to the people who collected in the flags so quickly.
