They act together to provide excellent
coverage to pick up any one speaking around the table.
We have two Phoenix Quattro speakerphones. Normally these are both on the
desk in room B37 connected by a DIN cable. They act together to provide excellent
coverage to pick up any one speaking around the table.
However should you wish
to join a video conference using your own compuer in a different room then you may borrow the
second phone for this purpose. The phone should be connected to the USB port of
a computer running windows using the special USB cable which is kept in the safe.
When connected the computer should download the drivers for the speakerphone
and it will then be accessible
to software such as SeeVogh. Note this has only been tested on Windows machines.
After using it please return it to B37 and reconnect
it to the primary speakerphone with the DIN cable.
