How to join an EVO conference

To get started double click on the EVO icon

Once at the EVO web page click "Start EVO"

When the "KOALA" sofware starts up, login when prompted to do so.

You can now choose the meeting you wish to join, and click on it to join it.

You should find that sound from the conference comes out of the Phoenix speakerphone, which is the grey object in the middle of the table. This is also the microphone into which you can speak.

To change settings click on the "toolbox" icon. On the EVO Audio controls the speakerphone appears as "Phnx MT301" for both Microphone and Seakers.

In order to talk in your conference you need to be unmuted. Muting is controlled both through the EVO button:

and the button on the speakerphone. Provided both are unmuted then you should see the green bar next to Input Settings respond when you are talking.

Video is controlled via the Vievo program. If anyone is broadcasting video then they should appear in this window. In order to broadcast your own video you need to turn on the camera. This is done by clicking in the middle of the little picture of a webcam at the top of the Vievo window. You can access setting for the camera by clicking on the three chevrons to the right of the webcam icon. This should looks something like the picture below.

You can choose Logitech for the high definition fixed webcam or USB2.0 Grabber for the standard definition Sony Point/Tilt/Zoom Camera. I recommend the former.
